Optalign smart EX remains a sought-after measurement system in the maintenance of rotating machinery such as pumps, motors, gearboxes and compressors.

Vertical and horizontal machine corrections are monitored live on the screen.
OPTALIGN smart EX is delivered in a robust and valuable light-aluminum case which is suitable for hazardous areas. PDF reports can be generated and directly saved from the system onto a USB stick. The optional wireless Bluetooth module is certified ATEX/Ex/IECEx. It allows wireless data transmission from the sensor to the computer. This is a unique capability of PRUFTECHNIK alignment systems for hazardous areas.

Automatic evaluation of Optalign Smart EX Alignment

TolChek® – Dynamic tolerances evaluate the alignment condition based upon the machine RPM. The LEDs and Smiley provide visual indication of the alignment condition and the update status during machine correction.

Continuous SWEEP mode

SWEEP mode – As the shaft is rotated, data is automatically and continuously collected. OPTALIGN® smart EX determines the alignment condition with a shaft rotation of as little as 60°. Measurement can start at any shaft position and in any direction. This mode is quick and captures hundreds of measurement points, hence more accurate than the 3-clock positions measurement method. Most rotating machines require an accuracy close to that attained by the continuous SWEEP mode.
